Barbie and Friends

Barbie and friends have been in our lives for a long time.  I got my first Barbie doll in 1962, the same year I got my baby sister.  My mother spent countless hours sewing intricate clothes for my doll.  She had silk pajamas (ok, satin), a gorgeous wedding gown and train, a suit for business, party dresses, and everything else under the sun.  My mother almost had a stroke when I traded some to my friend across the street for her "store-bought" clothes.  I was six.  Who knew?

Anyhow, remember these?

Well, the choices are a bit broader now.  You can choose from video-related dolls — mermaids and peasants and such.  You will find characters from the Twilight Saga.   If you’re into motorcycles, get yourself a Harley couple!  Or just go for the traditional squeaky clean group out on a camping expedition.

Maybe you should give the dolls a place to live and some stuff to put in it.  And a way to get to each others houses.  With style.

Because, as you well know, Barbie and friends do everything with style.
